Domestic Violence
Domestic violence, also known as intimate partner violence (IPV), a pattern of behaviors where one partner exerts power and control over the other in relationship.
Sexual Assault
Sexual violence impacts hundreds of thousands of Americans annually. Although assaults have decreased by over half since 1993, only 5 out of every 1,000 rapists are imprisoned today.
Human Trafficking
Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion for or commercial sex. Millions of people, regardless of age, race, or gender, are trafficked worldwide, including in the U.S. Traffickers frequently use violence, manipulation, or false promises to attract victims.
Teen Abuse
Unhealthy relationships can begin early and persist over time. Teens may view teasing and name-calling as normal, but these behaviors can escalate into abuse. Many do not report these issues due to fear of disclosing to family and friends.
